I - THE COMING OF GOD
It was the miÇdle of the year ( 1925 ) . A little group of Vietnamese scholars amused themselves by dabbling in Spiritims ( or divine writing ) . Their ques tions put to the Spirits receivedsurprising answers . Their parente and friende showed themselves to talk family affair and gave counsels . These sensations taught them of the existence of an occult world .
No doubts were raised concerning the nature of the conservation, first, because it was eqally new to all It was impossible to suspect one another of connivance, and later, because certain communications from the correspondent of the occult world revealed such loftly sentiments, scientific knowledge ang depth of philosophy that none among them was capable of being the author .

only on Christams eve, the 24th December 1925, this Spirit A, A, A reveal himself at last as the " Supreme Beinf " comming under the name of CAO DAI to teach truth to Vietnam. He said in substance :
" Rejoice this day. It'sthe anniversary of my comming in EUROPE to teach my doctrine. Iam happy to sê you. Oh disciples full of respect and love me. This house will have my blessings. Manifestations of my power will inspire even greater respect and lovein my regaed " .
II THE PROPHECIES
The comming of God wes prophesied by Jesus Christ in Hs New Tesrament ( Mathew XXIV : 42, 43, 44 John X:16, 17, 18 .
He also said to the Jews : " You will be wandering on earth till I come " . Only in 1984, after the comming of God in Vietnam the Jews RF-Established their nation now located in the MiÇle East . The coming was also prophesied in BuÇhist canons
III - NEWLY BORNE RELIGION
The new religion came out its limited circle to spread among the people in 1926, after an offical declaration to the gobernment on October 7. 1926 .
At the heag is enthroned the Giao-Tong ( POFE ) whose titular is Saint Ly-Tai-Pe's Spirit ( Ly-Tai-Pe was for China what Homer for Grêce ang Ossian for Scotland ) .
The temporal Pope Was Le Van Trung appointed by the Spiritue Pope Ly Tai Pé . Since the creation of the religion, thr late Le Van Trung ( disincarnated in 1934 ) has bên the only human being who received the title of Quyen Giao Tong ( Temporary Pope ) . He has not yet his successor. Wanting the Pope, the Ho Phap Pham Cong Tac became Superrior of Caodaism by the popular Counsel and the Sacerdotal Counsel .
